Weekend adventure in which we jump for joy

Last Sunday, Mr. Snowgoose and I and the Graphic Designers jumped into the car and drove to the Eastside to a gym to "work out." Last fall a trampoline gym opened up and we'd been dying to try it. What's not to love about a gym with nothing but trampolines?

We didn't think anything of the fact that we were all 30-something (or 29 year-old) adults going to jump on trampolines.

Well, it wasn't what we expected.

First, there was the fact that we were the only adults jumping. All the other adults (most of whom were our age or younger) were watching thier kids.

Second, despite the fact it was Super Bowl Sunday, the place was hoppping (literally) with kids, most of whom did not obey the double bounce rule.

We jumped for about 15 minutes before we were wiped out. Perhaps it would have been more enjoyable if we weren't so old and our knees so week or if there were fewer kids. I was under the impression we'd get our own trampolines. We didn't.

I did have fun. I discovered I rememembered my trampoline tricks from gymnastics and impressed everyone with my crazy high cheerleader jumps. Plus, flipping into a foam pit was fantastic.

I took photos but accidentally deleted them. You'll just have to picture us jumping up and down.
